1st meeting : introduction of teachers and decision about  the coordinator of the project and subjects

During three days, teachers of six European high schools ( Bulgaria , Greece , Norway , Poland , Portugal , and Spain ), were meeting in Valencia to study and decide the objects and contents of the project.

Italian teachers weren’t present in the meeting, and the Greek high school couldn’t participate in this project.

Our project is going to investigate and exchange the connection between nature phenomenon, scientists, science and culture. We want to let the students discover the close connection between science and culture, and how they have affected each other.

At the same time we want to discover the evolution of the science and culture, we start with our ancient times and posed until present time. Based on this knowledge we want our students to do predict how things might be in future and do some innovation to solve common problems.

To develop an understanding for the importance of international cooperation, we want to make some international teams of students, at least one from each country; witch is going to cooperate trough ICT. The students will work to find common effects our theme has had on our countries and try to find new common solutions.

We want to work with our themes Cross Curriculum, to let our students develop an insight in the connection between our society, culture and knowledge.

We want to focus on how theory and practice is connected, and let our students experience the scientific method. Since it is the year of physics 2005, we want to give some extra attention to this subject the first year.
